The REME Museum was established in 1958. It has the mission of preserving the heritage of the Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
Currently based in Arborfield, Berkshire, it is undergoing a major relocation project and will move to Lyneham, Wiltshire by October 2015. This blog documents the work carried out behind the scenes while the Museum is closed to the public. This will include packing the collection and the designs for the new displays.
The Museum has a broad collection including medals, vehicles, weapons, uniforms, extensive archives and more.
